Nicole Allegretti studied Playwriting and Theatre Studies at Marymount Manhattan College in New York where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and multiple professional certifications in Oriental Medicine, and other areas of alternative medicine.
In addition to writing literary and poetic works, Nicole practices acupuncture and herbal medicine at Positive Life Acupuncture, PLLC in Warwick, NY and practices and teaches yoga at Vastu Health Center, where she is grateful to share space with beautiful people who she feels connected to on her soul’s journey.
Nicole lives in Vernon, New Jersey just next to the Appalachian Mountains.
Her inspiration comes from prayer, meditation and the people she is blessed to experience this life with.
Writing is her way of staying sane and she is grateful to share it with you, this time around.

Stephanie Joyce Roth, a progressive, young artist living in Warwick NY, specializes in acrylic media on canvas, wood, and other found objects. Her extensive body of work captures the unconscious essence of people, animals, places, and things through her eclectic use of color and texture. A Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate with a minor in Photography from William Paterson University, Stephanie’s work has been highlighted in several group and solo exhibitions throughout the Hudson Valley. Stephanie co-owns an 'A Working Studio' situated in the heart of the Warwick Village. Her life is her art, being in nature, with her happy two doggies and her partner. Frida Kahlo is her favorite artist.

Stefani A. Allegretti is an educator, freelance writer and interdisciplinary, contemporary artist specializing in mixed media and digital art. Stefani received her formal training at the University of Pittsburgh where she received a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art in 2009. She also holds a Master's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree of Science in Instructional Design & Technology, a Bachelor's degree in English and multiple certifications. Although Stefani has been creating art since she was a child, her interest in creating evolved considerably while living on Long Beach Island, a tiny barrier island situated off of the coast of New Jersey. It was there that she developed a profound appreciation of the coastal environment, the environment and the natural world in general which is reflected in the majority of her work. She is also interested in the connection between aspects of nature as they relate to the human body and in exploring the human-to-human connection through the use of various technologies. Alexis Mardosa graduated from Caldwell University with her Masters in Counseling and Art Therapy. She works to expand her self knowledge through the creative arts while helping others in expressing themselves within the therapeutic process of art making. Alexis works in multiple locations as an art therapist in the Northern New Jersey area.She is trained as a traditional oil painter working on large canvases, but enjoys working with a multitude of materials including mixed media and collage. She states, “The creative process is a sensory experience through which everyone can gain enlightenment. For me it’s about letting go of all of the worldly inhibitions, expectations, and fears. Art is a collision of the internal and external experience beautifully sown together. It is the past, present, and future all at once”. The World We Forgot is the first publication showcasing her watercolor paint and pen illustrations.

Breanna Moskwa is a current resident of West Milford, NJ and is a 20 plus year self taught artist. She fell in love with design and art classes in high school. Her main influence in her love of art came from her high school Art teacher Mrs. Deutsch, who supported and helped build the confidence in herself and her art. She
rediscovered her love of art after raising her two children. Unwilling to limit her artistic creations, she works with various mediums including paint, illustration, fabric art, teaching painting classes and much more
